In order to participate in sports, youth sports programs require their participants to receive a sports physical prior to the start of the season. This is designed to ensure each participant is healthy enough to participate.

In addition to sports, summer camps require physicals, too. At American Family Care in Pace, FL, we administer both sports and camp physicals to patients on a walk-in basis, 7 days a week. The advantage of going to our center, instead of a primary care physician, is that doctors typically get over-booked prior to the start of both summer camps and sports seasons. At our center, we promise to get your child’s physical taken care of on the same day you visit our center.

Because we’re most concerned with the safety of our patients, we make our physicals thorough. Our physicals include:

  • Reviewing of patient’s medical history
  • Test patient’s strength, flexibility and posture
  • Measure patient’s weight, blood pressure and height
  • Examine patient’s eyesight, ears, lungs and spine

To get your child’s sports or camp physical administered, visit us at American Family Care in Pace, FL, any day of the week. For more information, call us at 850.304.0694.
